Bring your pet along for free in 2023

Enjoy some time with your family, including your dog! We have launched our ‘Pets Stay Free’ promotion, allowing you to bring your dog along on holiday, with no additional charge. This offer runs until 4th April, for bookings anytime in 2023.

Dare we say it. Spring is nearly here. We are starting to see the pretty daffodils bloom around the site and hope to feel the warmth of the sunshine very soon! There is so much to look forward to in Spring around the local area from farmers markets, to wildlife walks and trips to the beach.

It’s got us thinking about all the great places to take your dog. We have a couple of nice farm walks onsite, but aswell as those, there are so many just a small car journey away. The beautiful Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB have always been a favourite destination for dog lovers with lush green countryside, coastal paths and miles of glorious beaches. Enjoy the remoteness of a wild beach, breath in the fresh sea air and head out for a walk with your four legged friend.

Below are some of our recommendations–

National Trust Dunwich Heath – The paths here take you through glorious woodlands and you’ll find an abundance of picnic spots

Bungays Bigod Way – For something a little less rural, walking around the quintessential Suffolk market town of Bungay is lovely

The Suffolk Coasts Church Trails – A walk for the more experienced! At Westleton Heath there are paths galore, across fields and moorland, with streams and views of some of Suffolk’s prettiest churches. Follow the Angels & Pinnacles church trail from St Andrew’s Walberswick to St Peters in Westleton (6.5miles) or for shorter routes, try Walberswick to Blythburgh or Southwold to Walberswick. Felixstowe and Deben Peninsula – Taking in fields and riverside paths, along sea wall and over stiles (6.5miless) starting at Felixsowe Ferry, taking in views of the Deben estuary. For a slightly easier stroll, walk along the River Deben and enjoy views of the UKs last working tide mill in Woodbridge.

With sprawling countryside, expansive marches, and miles of coastline, Suffolk is the perfect place to explore and take in the sights of the season. Whether you want to stay, eat out or find great things to do, our cabins offer perfect accommodation.
