We love Easter at Log Cabin Holidays – it means that Spring is here, it’s a great egg-cuse to eat lots of delicious chocolate, there’s a long relaxing Bank Holiday weekend and the opportunity to spend more time with friends and family.
With so many places to go and explore nearby, our cabins are a brilliant place to base yourself; you can have a slow and gentle start before heading out for an adventure during the day, knowing that you’ll return to the peace and tranquillity of our rural site later.
If you’re an animal lover, then both Easton Farm Park and Jimmy's Farm & Wildlife Park have some great things lined up for the Easter holiday, including lots of Spring Babies and an egg-cellent egg hunt!
Just 20 minutes from here, Framlingham is a lovely market town to go and visit, with a great selection of shops and cafes to enjoy as well as a castle to explore.
The National Trust Ickworth Estate has an Easter trail with nature-inspired activities for the whole family to enjoy. Ickworth also offers many other ways to spend the day… If you prefer a slower pace, you can learn about the site's history and take a tour of the house before meandering through the beautiful gardens that surround it. If, however, you like a bit more action, take your bikes and go for a ride, following the trails through the parkland.
While the weather is gradually improving, we know there are, sadly, likely to be some grey days, meaning you’d rather stay snuggled up and cosy at home or in your cabin. On those days, why not try some Easter crafts or melt down some of those eggs and mix them with rice crispies to make some crispy cakes!!
