Framlingham Castle
Based in the local market town of Framlingham, the Castle is a great place for both adults and children. You are able to tour the top of the castle walls with or without a tour which gives wonderful views and lots of history. During school holidays they also put on lots of exciting events which children love such as a Knights tournament or Easter adventure quest. It is set in beautiful grounds which are great for picnics or rolling down the steep hills in the sunshine.
Bewilderwood
This advernture filled day out is wonderful for children and brings out the child in adults. Bewilderwood, although a bit of a drive from us here at Log Cabin Holidays, is an incredibly exciting day out. There are highropes to adventure thorough, den building, storytelling, slides and swings and so much more. It is well worth the drive to go to Bewilderwood.
Easton Farm Park
Easton Farm park is a great day out for all ages. You can see the animals and even feed some. There are indoor and outdoor play areas and 30 acres of farm land to explore. It is a fun day out whatever the weather, just remember your waterproof and wellies.
Thornham Walks
Thornham walks is nice and local and doesn’t have to cost much money. While you have to pay for parking, you don’t have to pay for anything else (unless, like me, you like to stop at the café!) Thornham walks is fun for all of the family including the dog. You can walk round seeing what wildflife you come across. There are spaces to build your own dens, hides to watch the birds and ponds to see what you can find. There is a play are near the carpark as well as the delicious café.
High Lodge
High Lodge in Thetford is also a great place to explore. Here you are able to take a walk through the woods, hire or take you own bikes to explore one of the three cycling trails, walk the dog, hire a BBQ or enjoy the play areas. It is a large space to explore and fun for all the family.
