This is Peter. Peters Dad Thomas purchased Athelington Hall in 1956. The farm was later passed down to Peter who took over in 1990.
For many years Peter ran the farm, looking after the pigs and the land and keeping everything running. After Swine fever and foot and mouth disease, the farm needed a way to diversify, which led Peter to start the venture of purchasing the first of the Log Cabins. This small venture has now grown to 17 log cabins and having a marquee on site for weddings and other events during the summer months.
Peter now runs the farm in partnership with his son John and daughter Amy. When you come and stay with us, you are likely to see Peter around the log cabins helping to maintain the hot tubs or assist you with any questions you may have.
