Most don’t allow dogs over the summer months. Sothwold, Felixtowe Lowestoft and Aldeburgh all have parts either north or south of the main beach which do allow dogs year-round. If you’re heading to Dunwich you are able to take your dog at any time. You can also visit one of the pubs with your dog. (See pub section!) If you fancy a more secluded spot, Covehithe is a beach where your dogs can run free. It is only accessible by foot and dogs must be kept on a lead on the walk down there as there are pigs along the lane. Once on the beach the dogs can run free.
