Poppy is a 6-year-old, fox red Labrador who belongs to John, the farmer. Poppy is often in the reception, welcoming guests when they arrive or come to the shop. When John is busy, she takes herself off for a walk to visit the cabins. She loves being around people and really loves it when you make a fuss of her. Poppy has a brilliant memory and at times, has become a regular visitor to certain cabins…usually around breakfast time when she knows there’s likely to be some leftover goodies coming her way!
Poppy is very friendly and is great around all ages, but we do appreciate that not everyone is a fan of dogs…if you come to stay and she makes a nuisance of herself, please give us a call and we’ll give her a whistle.
Thank you to all our guests who have given Poppy belly rubs, cuddles, cooked for her, played with her and bought her ice cream…she, and we, greatly appreciate it!
