Peter visited two of our local primary schools with his tractor, to talk to all the children about his experiences on the farm. They all had fun learning about the different parts and getting to sit in the driving seat!
Farming has been a major influence on the development of Suffolk’s landscape, both physically and socially throughout history. Farms are important to Suffolk’s history and character. We should now be making every effort to recognise, cherish and sustain the important features of the countryside around us.
Talking to the next generation about this was a pure joy. We are not sure who enjoyed the experience the most, the children or Peter!
