Our aim is to make any wedding at Athelington Hall a truly memorable event. Our custom made marquee is set in the picturesque grounds of the Hall. If a large wedding is what you’re planning, you’re in luck. The marquee caters for up to 250 seated guests or 400 for a buffet reception. We are also able to create a smaller, more intimate wedding setting.
The marquee can be swagged and lined and you are able to choose different layouts and designs of furniture. The marquee is also fully carpeted, complete with elegant chandeliers, dance floor, stage and bar. In addition, we have heaters to keep your guests warm whatever the weather.
We work with each individua couple to help you create the day you want. Whether it be a traditional wedding, a sophisticated garden party or a summer BBQ, we can accommodate your needs. You are able to complete your own look, both inside and outside the marquee. Almost anything you could dream is possible, including bouncy castles, sweet carts, flower walls, trampolines, play equipment, croquet and anything you can think of to keep the children and adults entertained. We cater for only one wedding reception per weekend, which means we give every bridal party a personalised and attentive service.
We have never had 2 wedding receptions the same. From the seating arrangements, colour scheme, food or music choices. Each wedding will vary according to a couple’s individual preferences. We can recommend excellent local caterers, provide you with a hog or lamb roast, or you can bring your own catering in. We also have contacts for everything from horse drawn carriages, to florists, to photographers.
