Nestled in the heart of the North Suffolk countryside, our log cabins provide the perfect opportunity to escape the pressures of everyday life and enjoy a truly relaxing break.
We are a working farm dating back to 1620, surrounded by acres of open fields and beautiful rural landscape. Our idyllic setting is a haven for wildlife, offering peace, space and unspoilt scenery. Wonderful countryside walks begin almost right from your doorstep, making it easy to slow down, unwind and reconnect with nature.
Our self-catering log cabins are thoughtfully equipped to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Each lodge features its own private hot tub — perfect for stargazing with a glass of something bubbly — while selected cabins also offer saunas to help you fully unwind, along with luxurious four-poster beds for an extra touch of indulgence.
On site, our games room provides entertainment for all ages, complete with a pool table, table tennis, air hockey and table football. Step outside your lodge and you’ll find an abundance of wildlife and scenic footpaths to explore. Whether you’re bringing a pet or travelling without, there are plenty of peaceful walks to enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside and truly switch off.
We’re ideally located for exploring a range of charming towns and traditional villages. The popular market town of Framlingham is just 15 minutes away, famous for its historic castle — often referred to as Ed Sheeran’s “Castle on the Hill” — and its traditional Saturday market. The stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast is also within easy reach, including the much-loved seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold. Our log cabin holidays are perfect for couples and families alike. Children and pets have plenty of safe, open space to run and explore, while adults can enjoy the peace and seclusion of an idyllic countryside escape — ideal for special birthdays, anniversaries and memorable occasions.
Please note that there is no public transport within the village, so your own transport is essential. Each lodge offers ample parking for several vehicles, and we have two on-site EV charging points available on a convenient pay-as-you-go basis. All lodges enjoy wonderful field and countryside views, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing, away-from-it-all rural retreat. You’re also welcome to arrange grocery deliveries during your stay — simply ensure the booking name matches your reservation.
We now have a shop in our reception stocking goodies from Suffolk and North Essex. We have local tea, coffee, sauces, crisps and ice creams. We also have frozen yoghurt for your four-legged friends.
The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development supports the Havers Log cabin development by providing six new luxury log cabins.
